On foot, by bike or on horseback, the surrounding trails lead to surprisingly beautiful landscapes and pretty villages of character. Nearby you can also go climbing, sand- yachting and kayaking. If you have time, don’t miss a ride on the Train Marin (Seaside Train) that leaves Cherueix to cross the bay: Philippe Renard, a real enthusiast, will tell you in detail about the lives of local fishermen and mussel farmers. When you get back, you can sample mussels, oysters and regional produce served in the campsite’s traditional restaurant.
