The ‘Sentier d’Ozégan’ (Ozégan trail), a fun family day out on the Monténeuf moors, where you might meet the mischievous ‘korrigans’ (Breton leprechauns) and some ephemeral art in natural surroundings.
Ozégan the ‘Korrigan’ is a mischievous Breton leprechaun. Along a trail that crosses the Monténeuf moors, in the centre of the Morbihan region, Ozégan has some puzzles for you to solve and it’s up to you to find the answers! You’ll need a bit of imagination, some curiosity, and of course the korrigan map. As you follow the trail you’ll get a chance to read a fairytale out loud, take a musical break or two, and create a ‘work of art’ from the natural objects around you. You’ll find the trail is scattered with pieces of ephemeral, natural art already made by various contributors without harming the natural surroundings in any way – sometimes surprising and sometimes moving. The Ozégan trail changes from one year to the next. Let the korrigans take you into their wonderful woodland world: they can teach us a lot about nature and its conservation.
