The Manoli Workshop, a short walk from the Rance, is a little heaven where, between shade and light, sculpture and nature blend : here was the source of the artist’s creative energy during the last 25 years of his life.
In 2001 the museum opened its doors to bequile us with the discovery of this marvellous treasury where sculptural virtuosity augments the serenity of the garden. With works such as the numerous public commissions, the Grande Voile at Montparnasse railway station, the « Cheminée » at the University of Jussieu or the liturgical furniture of the Cathedral of Quimper, Manoli will propel you into his universe of material and movement, mobile and kinetic creations ; produced with an oxyacetylane torch, his earthenware and molten granite are exceptional works. et yourself be guided by this inspiring encounter….
