Golf de la Bretesche
A magnificent fairytale chateau complete with turrets, towers, moat and adjoining lake, proudly lords it over this delightful woodland course. Seen at the start, middle and end of the round, its striking presence magically filters through the woods and sets a majestic tone. -

Golf international Barrière La Baule
Although Golf International Barriere La Baule rolls off the tongue rather less quickly than a downhill putt at Augusta, it nevertheless contains all manner of golfing delights. With three courses offering 45 holes in total, there is plenty here for a golfer to sink his or her seven iron into. -
Golf de Val Quéven
Designed by Yves Bureau and built upon what was previously agricultural land, Val Quéven rolls around the gently undulating Scorff valley. Right at the very heart of the Breton countryside, this beautifully landscaped course contains a number of fine oaks and horse-chestnut trees in a pleasantly wooded setting. -
Golf de Quimper-Cornouaille
Designed by the famous course architect Fred Hawtree and opened just over 50 years ago, Quimper-Cornouaille claims to be the oldest course on Brittany’s glorious south coast. Lying within the Fouesnant forest and alongside the Bay of Concarneau just about 10 miles south of Quimper, it measures 6200 yards and provides a thorough examination without being at all unfair. -
Golf de Saint-Laurent
Since it has hosted the French professional championship on a couple of occasions back in the late ‘80s and the National Open in ‘95, St Laurent is clearly capable of providing a thorough examination. -
Golf de L'Odet
Just 12 kilometres south of Quimper and close to the pretty seaside resort of Bénodet lies the lovely L’Odet. Carved out of more than 250 acres of beautiful pine and oak woodland, this parkland challenge provides a thorough examination to test both the best and the rest. Large bunkers, lakes, generous fairways, well-protected greens and yes, you guessed it, a great many trees combine to create a delightful course in the most attractive of settings. -
Golf de Ploemeur Océan
A delightfully attractive seaside course not far from Lorient, Ploemeur Océan is an absolute joy to play. Half the holes are more or less genuine links on proper sandy soil while the other half are inland and almost parkland in character. The combination of the two styles doubles the pleasure of this intriguing challenge.
