At this family-run inn, the key to creative cuisine is in the amazing kitchen garden.
This traditional Breton house doesn’t look anything special from the outside. Nothing but a family inn – you might think. But just take a look inside and you’ll discover something else. Jean-Yves Jaguin cooks up a storm with the local produce, sometimes even smoking it, to create original cuisine. Imagine lobsters, oysters and scallops bathed in a seaweed, combu and caviar broth served with a halo of seaweed bread. Each season has its speciality: shelled spider crab in spring, oven-roasted Breton lobster and smoked monkfish with Cocos de Paimpol (local variety of haricot beans) in summer, apple dishes in autumn and abalone in winter! Come and enjoy a genuine feast. Don’t forget to talk a digestive stroll in the amazing garden behind the house where you can discover mint from Corsica, Szechuan pepper and giant thyme.
