Centre Nautique de Saint Pol de Léon
At the tip of Groue Point, protected from the westerlies by the coast, Saint-Pol de Léon Water Sports centre enables you to discover just a stone’s throw from the slipway the small islands dotted around Morlaix Bay and the wild, protected Callot Island.
Open throughout the year, Saint-Pol de Léon Water Sports centre has trained some famous sailors such as Armel Le Cléac’h, who came second in the 2008-2009 Vendée Globe. It is clear that Morlaix Bay from Saint-Pol de Léon offers some exceptional scenery to those, who enjoy water sports. You just have to cross the Penzé Channel to skirt alongside the rocks protecting the bay. To discover these sites, Saint-Pol de Léon Water Sports Centre offers various types of boat: kayaks, catamarans, windsurfing boards, optimists and even a caravel. In the summer, courses are available for children from the age of 6, as well as lessons, excursions and hire facilities for the independent sailor.
