Take turns to hoist the jib or lower the mizzen sail - you'll soon be familiar with terms like this. Totally traditional sailing is a real joy on this historic boat.
Come aboard at the Cale aux Voleurs for a 90 minute nautical initiation, a turn around the Bay of Concarneau, an aperitif with music or a cruise to Le Glénan. Between canvas and wood, sky and sea, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Once you've left the harbour, Franck and Joseph show you the ropes. It's all hands on deck! Young matelots take the tiller. It's such a thrill to hear the wind whipping through the sails as the islands loom into view. Franck gives a brief navigation lesson to the most interested just before dropping anchor in the clear waters of Saint-Nicolas for a friendly aperitif. The nautical chart is brought out to help you understand this beautiful site. After the picnic and the beach, the anchor is raised for another two hours of timeless sailing!
