Christmas market and entertainment in the National Stud of Lamballe

Returning for its nineth year, the National Stud of Lamballe opens its Santa's Grotto from 9th December to 11th December. Each year more than 20,000 curious visitors immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas in the stables, which are decorated and illuminated to create a magical atmosphere. Inside the ancient stables, the stalls are transformed into Christmas market stalls with around 90 exhibitors. As well as feasting your eyes, your taste buds will also be in for a treat at the food court where visitors can find crepes, cakes and mulled wine.  Take part in activities such as children’s pony and donkey rides, horse drawn carriages rides and creative workshops?

Illuminations extravaganza at the Domaine de Trévarez

From 19th November to 2nd January, the Domaine de Trévarez and its castle are transformed into a Christmas world of imagination and wonder. All around the castle lights are used to create an atmospheric dream-like land of illusion and magic with a sensory journey of discovery.   An exhibition held in the castle’s stables tells the story of light, through a surprising scenography which will plunge visitors into a fantasy world! Outside the fireflies light up the trees garlanded with colourful flowers and the moons and lanterns glow that dances in the breeze. This wonderful journey of light leads you to the castle, which sparkles with a thousand lights as the night falls…

The fantasy world of Brocéliande

From 16th December to 2nd January, the Abbey of Paimpont comes alive with a moonlit spectacle of legends of the forest. Every evening from 18:00 to 20:00, Paimpont buzzes with entertainment in a poetic and friendly atmosphere in the moonlight. Inside the Abbey, the Porte des Secrets (Door of Secrets) takes you on a journey of legend and treasures of the forest of Brocéliande. For a complete immersion in this fantasy world, the Hotel du Roi Arthur has children’s entertainment around Christmas time (crafts, storytelling etc.) and offers a -50% discount on children accommodation.
