Golf de Brest Iroise

Brest is one of the best
Golf in Saint-Urbain
  • About ten miles east of Brest and just three miles south of Landernau, Brest Iroise has the distinction of being the most westerly course in France. Designed by Michael Fenn and laid out in 1976, it has been created on wonderfully natural terrain that is absolutely ideal for golf. It’s wild and rugged heath and moorland with enough elevation to provide plenty of slopes and loads of visual interest.

  • The gorse and rocks add to the excitement and the views over the surrounding countryside in general and the ancient mountain range of Monts d'Arrée in particular are quite splendid. A considerable amount of work has been done to improve the drainage and the 6200-yard course is always in excellent condition. The clubhouse is now part of the Brest Iroise Golf Hotel and Leisure Resort.
