GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE (CGV).
Article 1: This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in our
bed and breakfast ""Les Iles Vagabondes"" located in Saint-Malo in Brittany. He is
established only between the client and the bed and breakfast ""Les Iles Vagabondes"".
The T&Cs relate exclusively to reservations made directly,
by phone, by post, by email, via our website or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo – La Baie du Mont Saint Michel.
These T&Cs may be modified at any time, without notice, and are in force.
effective on the date reservations are made.
Article 2: Duration of stay : the customer signing the contract recorded for a fixed period and binding us, may not claim any right to remain in the premises.
Article 3: Absence of withdrawal : For reservations made by mail, by
telephone, by email or online via our website or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo-La Baie du Mont Saint-Michel,the customer does not benefit from the withdrawal period, and this, in accordance with article L-121-21-8 of the consumer code relating in particular to the provision of hosting services provided on a date or according to a determined periodicity.
Article 4: Terms of reservations : The prices mentioned on our website, on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo- La Baie du Mont Saint Michel or on simple request by telephone or email, valid for reservations made in direct, by telephone, by post, by email, on our website or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo- La Baie du Mont Saint Michel, and charged in euros, are applied per room, per night and service breakfast included, all taxes included. Are not included in the price per night, the tourist tax as well as the service ""Espace Détente"" on reservation which are to be paid directly on site.These rates can be modified at any time, without notice and only those mentioned in the contract when the reservation is effective, are valid.
Regarding reservations:
For information: for any reservation request made on our website or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo - the Bay of Mont Saint Michel, via our Channel Manager ELLOHA (who, subsequently and initially , sends an email to the customer who initiated this request), an imprint of the bank card is requested as a guarantee. No debit is made on this bank card. This guarantee is likely to operate only when there is no show of the customer who has made a reservation request through our site (for payment of the remaining balance or, as the case may be, of the entire stay).
Secondly, the procedures for confirming this reservation request made on our site or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo - the Bay of Mont Saint Michel (signature of an estimate and request for deposit.. .) are given in a second email sent by us from contact@les-iles-vagabondes.fr
Any reservation made directly before the 21st day before the date of the start of the stay, by telephone, by post, by email, on our website or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo-La Baie du Mont Saint Michel , is confirmed when a deposit corresponding to 30% of the total amount due is paid and received. The remaining balance due must be paid no later than 20 days before the start of the stay, otherwise the reservation is canceled and the deposit is retained.
- Any reservation made directly at the earliest 20 days and at the latest the day before the date of the start of the stay, by telephone, by post, by email, on our website or on that of the Saint-Malo Tourist Office - La Baie du Mont Saint Michel, is confirmed when the total amount due has been paid and received.
- Any reservation made directly on the day of the start of the stay, on site, and subject to availability, is due in full on arrival.
Means of payment:
For any reservation made directly by telephone, by post, by email, on our website or on that of the Tourist Office of Saint-Malo-La Baie du Mont Saint Michel, the following means of payment are accepted: bank transfer, bank check, cash, ANCV holiday check or by credit card directly on site.
The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the payment due either the deposit or the total amount (for payments by check, following its collection), and you are notified by email or telephone.
The time allowed for sending the payment for the confirmation of your reservation is 5 working days. After this time, the reservation is cancelled.
For a reservation made directly, the same day of the beginning of the stay, on site, and subject to availability, payment can be made by check, cash, CB (MasterCard or Visa) or ANCV holiday voucher.
Article 5: The additional ""Relaxation area"" service must be booked on site upon your arrival, subject to availability and must be paid for at the end of your stay. It is possible to make a reservation in advance on simple request. Payment is made at the end of your stay.Cancellation of this service is free of charge.
In the relaxation area, up to 5 people maximum are accepted knowing that the capacity of the SPA is 4 people maximum at the same time and the capacity of the SAUNA is 3 people at the same time.
Article 6: Tourist tax : tax/night/adult (Adult aged 18 and over): local tax, it is to be paid in addition to your stay and this, for any person not domiciled in Saint-Malo (35400), commune part of the Agglomeration Community of the Pays de Saint-Malo, recipient of this tax. We will take care of returning it to him.
The amount of this tourist tax may, at any time, be reviewed by the Agglomeration community of the Pays de Saint-Malo. If there is a change in this amount, it will be applied as soon as it is set up.
Article 7: Cancellation conditions following a direct reservation, by telephone, mail, email, on our website or on the Saint-Malo tourist office website. These cancellation requests must be sent by telephone, post or email.
- CANCELLATION up to and including the 31st day before the start date of your stay with us: the deposit or if full payment has been made, are fully refunded.
- CANCELLATION from the 30th day up to and including the 21st day before the start date of your stay with us: the 30% deposit is retained regardless of the number of nights . For the same number of nights, if full payment has been made, only an amount corresponding to 30% of the total amount will be retained. The remaining balance will be refunded to you.
- CANCELLATION between the 20th day and the 8th day inclusive before the start date of your stay with us: 50% of the total amount is kept regardless of the number of nights . The remaining balance will be refunded to you.
- CANCELLATION between the 7th day and 2 days before the start date of your stay with us: 70% of the total amount is retained regardless of the number of nights . The remaining balance will be refunded to you.
- CANCELLATION THE BEFORE OR IN CASE OF NO SHOW on the date of the beginning of the stay: the total amount of your reservation is retained regardless of the number of nights. No refunds are made.
- In the event of a shortened stay, the total amount of your reservation is acquired, regardless of the number of nights.
- CANCELLATION THEN POSTPONEMENT OF THE STAY TO A LATER DATE ACCORDING TO AVAILABILITY:the 30% deposit is retained and the remaining balance due takes into account the new rate proposed for the period of the new reservation, in the event that the previous and canceled reservation was made no later than 21 days before the start of the canceled stay .
Similarly, if the cancellation is made from the 20th day to the day of the beginning of the canceled stay and is followed by a postponement of the latter, the total amount being paid, it is retained. In this case, if the new reservation corresponds to a different period, a surplus may be requested or a refund in your favor may be made.
If the period of the new reservation is identical, the rate remains the same if it is not modified.
Whatever the period, if between a cancellation followed by a postponement and the new reservation, there is an upward modification of the prices, the customer agrees to pay the difference.
Article 8: Conditions of cancellation by us : When before the beginning of the stay, we cancel the latter, we must inform you by any means at our disposal, either by telephone, by email, by mail….
2 possibilities are offered to you under these conditions:
- You are fully reimbursed for the total amount you have paid.
- An amicable agreement is concluded between you and us following the acceptance by you of a substitute stay that we propose to you and this, without compensation.
Article 9: Gift cards : these cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase, for stays outside high season (July-August and early September) or exceptional season (the Route du Rhum...). Beyond their expiry date, these cards are no longer valid and cannot be refunded.
These gift cards are valid for 1 to 5 people maximum and for a minimum night.
The price does not include the tourist tax which will be payable at the end of the stay by the person or persons benefiting from these gift cards.
The price of these cards corresponds to the price of one night in mid-season multiplied by the number of nights chosen, and it varies according to the rooms and the maximum number of people per room. To this price may be added that, in force at the time of purchase, of a SPA service or a SPA&Sauna service.
The request for a gift card is made by phone or email. Following an agreement between us and the buyer and once the amount of this card has been paid and received, the gift card is sent, at our expense, by post to the recipient chosen by the buyer.
Article 10: Arrival: the client must present himself on the day specified and at the times mentioned in the contract. At the hourly level, if there is a change on the specified day, the customer must notify us by telephone or email.
If there is a modification of the day of arrival, the total amount of the reservation is acquired by us without any possibility of reimbursement.
Article 11: Use of the premises : the customer agrees to respect the internal rules readable on the site when the latter is effective, or available in our reception room.
On request, we can send it to him by email.
Article 12: Capacity : this contract is defined for a specific number of people.
If on the day of arrival, one or more people are missing, no refund can be claimed and the total amount of the reservation is acquired by us.
If the day of arrival, this number is exceeded, we are entitled to refuse the additional person or persons without there being any breach or modification of the contract on our part. In this case, no refund is possible after the client's departure or at the end of his stay.
Article 13: Animals : Having ourselves animals, the presence of other animals within our bed and breakfast ""Les Iles Vagabondes"" is not accepted.
If the day of arrival, the customer arrives with one or more animals, we are entitled to refuse it or them, without there being any breach or modification of the contract on our part.In this case, no refund is possible after the client's departure or at the end of the stay.
Article 14: Disputes : in matters of disputes, only the judicial court of Saint-Malo is competent.
