The Breton capital in contemporary times
The François Pinault contemporary art collection doesn’t need any introductions; with several thousand works of art, it is one of the largest in the world. While 2021 will mark the entry of some of them in the Bourse de Commerce, their new permanent exhibition venue in Paris, others will be proudly displayed in black and white in Rennes. Not only are these the emblematic colours of Brittany, but also of the Dominicans, the first occupants of the Jacobins monastery. Many of these works will be on show for the first time in France! Still on the theme of black and white, an exhibition will bring together the main actors of the contemporary scene of Rennes at the Musée des Beaux-Arts. A collection of events that will make Rennes the must-visit destination of summer 2020!
