The Pinault collection is being exhibited in black and white

Rennes, Couvent des Jacobins: 25th June - 13th September 2020

Two years after a first memorable meeting, new works from the Pinault collection will be exhibited in Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes for the summer. An invitation to contemplate the world in black and white through the prism of international artists and emerging talents.

The Breton capital in contemporary times

The François Pinault contemporary art collection doesn’t need any introductions; with several thousand works of art, it is one of the largest in the world. While 2020 will mark the entry of some of them in the Bourse de Commerce, their new permanent exhibition venue in Paris, others will be proudly displayed in black and white in Rennes. Not only are these the emblematic colours of Brittany, but also of the Dominicans, the first occupants of the Jacobins monastery. Many of these works will be on show for the first time in France! Still on the theme of black and white, an exhibition will bring together the main actors of the contemporary scene of Rennes at the Musée des Beaux-Arts. A collection of events that will make Rennes the must-visit destination of summer 2020!
