  • In Hennebont, step aboard Linda and Tanguy's unusual boat-B&B and treat yourselves to a trip on the sea or the river, on the Blavet Canal or out towards the islands in the Gulf of Morbihan. A friendly welcome and an escape from your everyday cares are guaranteed.

Moored on the River Blavet, the Korriganez is a tjalk: a dismastable Dutch barge, that can sail on the sea or on a river. This 'floating B&B' offers tailor-made excursions. If you fancy the river, we head for the canal where the Forges and the Blavet meet and there are picturesque, interesting lock-keepers’ houses. Between one lock and the next, you can help to handle the boat: you'll feel a real surge of pride when you’re at the helm of this 26-metre-long, 51-tonne giant! You’ve won your right to a sailor’s cap! If you prefer the sea, head for the islands in the Gulf of Morbihan: Houat, Hoëdic, Belle-Île and Groix. Linda will help you to explore the last of these and discover its craftsmanship and geological riches, from the Sables Rouges to the Grands Sables. After you’ve been hoisting the sails and drifting along, it's great to drop anchor and enjoy a good meal on board! The trip ends with a tune on the accordion. But there are plenty of other reasons for going back to the Korriganez: ciné-voile (films projected onto the sails), guinguette (open-air cafés with dance-floor), matelotage (traditional pirate marriage ceremonies) or marine festivals. Linda and Tanguy have more than one trick up their sleeve!
