  • Specialising in traditional Breton ‘galette’ biscuits, the biscuit factory at the Pointe du Raz invites you into the kitchens to discover their yummy secrets of traditional biscuit-making.

Simple and authentic, the biscuit factory at the Pointe du Raz has been around since 1936. It has gained its reputation thanks to its delicious sweet Breton products – ‘palets’, ‘galettes’, madeleines, caramels and ‘kouign amann’ (buttery caramelised Breton cake) - still made with traditional churned butter. To ensure that these traditions are not forgotten, the biscuit factory opens the doors of its workshops to reveal just how grandmother’s recipes have been adapted to meet the demands of industrial production. The tour is free and explains the various stages of the production process from making the dough, to cooking and packaging the biscuits. The tour ends in a tasting session washed down with a ‘bolée’ (bowl) of cider!
