It is also known as crêpe dentelle. This extremely fine, rolled Breton biscuit is deliciously crispy and is a perfect accompaniment for coffee. It's a speciality of Quimper. The biscuit factory is the last place in town where you can watch it being made, rolled out on a tilted rectangular tray called a “bécuwe”. Here, the pastry-makers make traditional recipes every day: gâteau breton, far breton and a delicious Kouign-amann made with extra-fresh churned butter. The boutique is also very well stocked in drinks, sweets, preserves, toffees, traditional bows and other holiday souvenirs.
