In the heart of the Argoat region, a land of stone and forest, nestles a little municipal campsite, with facilities for caravans, camper-vans and tents. Between town and countryside, a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Callac and its shops, it borders a pretty lake, where it is fun to go fishing. The plants and flowers growing along the lakeside are identified for you on the botanical trail. On site there are facilities for tennis or mini-golf. Traces of Callac's rich heritage can be discovered in the many chapels and neighbouring fountains. For more than a hundred years the town has been famous as the world capital of the Breton spaniel. This regional breed even has its own museum and people come from as far away as Japan or the United States to buy these spaniels. The sea-side, and Guingamp and Morlaix, are only 30 minutes away.
