Rated campground at Saint-Congard

Camping du HalageCamping du Halage
  • Nestled in a lush valley, in Saint-Congard, this municipal camp site is on the edge of the Nantes-Brest Canal. In addition to being a perfect step for walkers or cyclists, it is just 35 minutes from the Gulf of Morbihan and the forest of Brocéliande.

With its direct access to the towpath, this municipal camp site is ideally situated for walkers! Whether you are on foot or bike, this step encourages rest and calm at the heart of Morbihan. All pitches are bare, with an electric hook-up and hedges for more privacy. You can reach the little village of Saint-Congard and its shops on foot: bakery-grocery, bar-tobacconist-paper shop and a bicycle repair and hire shop. And if you feel like it, there is plenty to do in the vicinity: visit the little medieval city of Malestroit 8 kilometres away, Rochefort-en-terre "Loveliest village in France", or Gacilly and its famous photo festival in the summer. The forest of Brocéliande is just 35 minutes away and the sea is 40 minutes away.
