Canoë kayak club de Plancoët

The Plancoët Canoe-Kayak club is open throughout July and August, and at weekends from May to October if booked in advance. There's something for everyone. Fancy canoeing down the river? Various supervised trips are organised with qualified instructors, along the Arguenon, “a small coastal river that provides a peaceful, safe environment,” explains Stéphane Gallerne, one of the club's staff. One of the trips is a descent following the tide downriver from Plancoët to the port of Le Guildo. There's also a hire service, by the hour or half-day. Fancy exploring the coastline? The club offers organised trips from Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer. Want to try both? In summer, there are training courses, with 3 river kayaking sessions followed by some sea kayaking. Out of season there are club activities, with weekly training sessions for children and adults, either for fun or at competition level. Finally, the club caters for company groups, seminars, groups of friends and families.
