  • Seeing how the underwater environment varies is a unique experience. Gérard takes both experienced divers and novices diving, in the sea off the coast of Quiberon, to show them this wealth of treasures.

Friendly and feel-good are the watchwords at the Haliotis Plongée diving centre, in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon. When Gérard takes the helm, he is always determined to create a relaxed, good-humoured atmosphere on the trips he runs. His centre on the port at Portivy operates between April and November, offering dives suitable for everybody, from beginners to experienced divers, at 42 locations that vary in depth from 5 to 40 metres. "There's a tremendous variety of sea beds here, with canyons and caves, kelp and gravel... And you might come across lots of different fish and shellfish." He uses his 7.3 metre semi-rigid boat for trips out to sea along the Côte Sauvage, and half-day or full-day diving excursions for up to 12 divers. Try-dives, introductory sessions or longer courses are all on offer - just choose the one that suits you best.
