  • With departure points at six ports on the north coast of Brittany, between Roscoff and Trébeurden, the Compagnie Finistérienne de Transport Maritime will take you for sea excursions and crossings to Morlaix Bay and the Isle of Batz.

Between Finistère and the Armorican Coast, the Compagnie Finistérienne de Transport Maritime owns no fewer than six boats that run trips to explore Morlaix Bay and the Isle of Batz. The island is accessible all year round in just 15 minutes from the old port of Roscoff. Or would you rather have a more leisurely trip? Another option is a boat tour that takes you all around the perimeter of the island before dropping you off there. From Roscoff, you can also go for a two-hour excursion in Morlaix Bay. You'll hug the Carantec coastline and go round the fortress known as the Château du Taureau ('Bull Castle'), and the little islands inhabited by gulls and puffins. Departing from Carantec, Plougasnou, Locquirec and Trébeurden, the company offers a full-day cruise: after an excursion round Morlaix Bay, you'll be dropped off on the Isle of Batz. The company also runs crossings to the Isle of Batz from the little port of Moguériec.
