A lot of creative thinking goes on behind the griddle let me tell you, resulting in melt-in-the-mouth galettes (savoury buckwheat pancakes) stuffed with cabbage and sausage, Paimpol smoked trout or scallops served sometimes with leek fondue and sometimes with Breton andouille (spiced sausage) and apples… With local vegetables and mussels, a homemade Breton flan and “vegetable ribbons just to decorate the plate”. His wife’s paintings adorn the walls of this 60-year-old crêperie. But surely you’re not leaving without having dessert? Go on; try a cider-poached pear crêpe with a scoop of ice cream and homemade caramel!
