L'Adresse, a crêperie in Morbihan that's a must for anyone who loves fine food
Right in the centre of Muzillac, at the gateway to the Loire-Atlantique department, this crêperie will delight even the most demanding fans of 'galettes' (buckwheat pancakes). Philippe and his wife offer a friendly welcome to their restaurant, where you can discover the best Breton produce in a contemporary setting. This is one of the best eating places in this corner of Morbihan, not just for its atmosphere but for the quality of the food, which the couple who own it take very seriously. They give pride of place to local produce and home-made dishes. For example, the chef can work miracles with Tome de Madon (an organic, truly local cheese, produced in Muzillac), mussels from Pénestin, merguez sausages that he’s found on the market at Réguin and much more. “We always dreamed of living in Brittany and spent 20 years searching every corner before we found the perfect site. We weren’t fed buckwheat with our mothers’ milk but we are quite passionate about this product. We even serve it in the form of crisps to go with an aperitif!” Regular diners don’t even bother looking at the menu but are happy to try any of the chef’s inventive suggestions. You'll also love the pretty glasses decorated with a fleur de lys that they use to serve organic cider.
