  • Binic, formerly a deep-sea fishing port, and Etables-sur-Mer, with its 1930s villas, together make up a very attractive seaside resort. Alongside the marina, the very maritime Crêperie des Embruns offers a seasonal menu, one that has been designed with taste and creativity and where everything is homemade.

Philippe is a Breton and a cook by trade. He and his wife set up their restaurant in this sublime corner of the Goëlo coast in June 2016 with the intention of fulfilling his love for cooking with buckwheat – organic, of course, because he is absolutely incapable of agreeing to any kind of chemical treatment. “I like designing my own recipes, working on the menu, making suggestions to the customer…I really have a passion for what I do.” His menu changes all the time, deep-freezing is banned and good, fresh produce is used in his kitchen. Here, scallops are accompanied by chicory and apples with ginger or with a vegetable tart. The Guémené andouille (chitterling sausage) is paired with apples pickled in cider and with Camembert. Philippe also likes working with andouille larded with bacon, or samphire, sardines, smoked mackerel with mustard sauce, quince jelly or chestnuts. All his pastries are homemade and you can even buy his homemade salted caramel!
