Authenticity you can taste

The "complète" (egg, ham and cheese) and the "beurre-sucre" (butter and sugar) are top choices in this welcoming crêperie in the centre of Guingamp. Once you've tasted the quality you will wish you had room for one more! The first thing to entice diners to eat here is the setting. The eclectic décor is a charming celebration of food and Brittany. And then there's the crêpes themselves. 'Respect the ingredients' is the motto at this crêperie. Clémence uses flour ground at the mill in Bubry and does everything "as simply as possible" to let the flavour of the ingredients come through on the plate. Her galettes (buckwheat pancakes) are "kraz", meaning thin and crispy, the way she learned to make them in Pont-l'Abbé. Though her preference tends to favour traditional recipes, she is equally at home with more original combinations too, involving goats' cheese, spinach and Andouille de Baye sausage.
