Close to the Morbihan beaches, the little town of Pont-Scorff can compete with the big towns, with celebrations, festivals, great architecture, a contemporary art centre, and more. A bucolic setting for arts and culture.In Pont-Scorff, art brings the past and the future together, with the Espace Pierre de Grauw, entirely devoted to the Dutch artist, and Atelier d’Etienne, which presents leading contemporary all year round. Each summer, the ""L’Art Chemin Faisant"" exhibition takes over old houses, tunnels in the woods, the garden of a manor house, etc. on a different theme each time. The Cour des Métiers d’Art, a block of buildings from the 16th to 18th centuries, accommodates artisan workshops, a boutique and a gallery. What about shows? In Pont-Scorff, you can dance at the Salmon Festival or drive a tractor at the Fête du Blé au Pain. The zoo, with its 600 animals, invites children and adults to travel across five continents. Lastly, magic is at work at Le Strapontin theatre, where the material of comedy actors and storytellers is inspired by the local area and its inhabitants.
