  • Between Pontrieux, the Little Venice of Northern Brittany and the port of Lézardrieux, you will be surprised by how calm it is in this protected natural environment, which hides some very interesting features. Start paddling!

A small traditional town on the edge of the water, Pontrieux is a nice place to start from when you set out on this kayak trip, which is available in July and August. Once you have passed through the lock gates, carried along by the tidal current, young kayakers will enter the wildest part of the Trieux Estuary taking them down to the port of Lézardrieux. For 3 or 4 hours, they can slide along the water; between land and sea, fresh water and salt water. In this peaceful natural and well preserved environment, young and old can feel totally relaxed. There will be a lot to discover: the Leff (the main tributary of the Trieux), the forests of Penhoat-Lancerf, the Château de la Roche-Jagu – where sometimes picnics are organised, the Traou-Nez manor house and the water mill at Traou-Meur. Thanks to the information given by your guide, your children will have learnt a lot by the end of the trip. They will make others jealous when they tell everyone about the family’s trip on the Trieux Estuary.
