  • With its original exhibitions, conferences and numerous events, the Espace des Sciences leads family audiences along the pathway to scientific discovery.

Situated at the heart of the Champs Libres, this is a place with a mission: to get visitors to understand and enjoy science. Its method? Getting visitors involved. Its credo? Making learning fun - whether it’s gorillas or maths, things that are infinitely big or microscopically small! In Merlin’s laboratory the kids can carry out their own experiments. At the planetarium, images will take them to the limits of the universe. In the Earth room at the Espace des Sciences building, learn about the geological history of the Armorican Massif. Well-known guest lecturers often give talks, bringing science and the very latest research to a wider audience.
