  • Between Lamballe and Moncontour, you can visit an educational farm and get to know the animals of the Brittany countryside. The calves, cows and pigs are waiting to meet you.

Extending over a nine-hectare animal park, backing onto farm buildings, the education farm of Le Botrai lives life at the tranquil pace set by the farm animals, just like in children's books. Pigs, chickens, cows, goats, rabbits... they're all here. Who lives in a pond? What are hedges for? Open to families and school groups, Le Botrai showcases the day-to-day biodiversity of Brittany's 'bocage', a landscape composed of mixed woodland and pasture. Exhibitions and special events are held during the holidays. Play at being farmers' apprentices, make toys from twigs and branches, join in a storytelling evening... and go for tour of the estate in a horse-drawn carriage. The farm also has a play area, a shop selling local produce and a picnic area. You can even organise a birthday tea for your kids here. Guaranteed full of surprises!
