  • Very close to the entrance of this maritime citadel built by Vauban, the Grands Voyageurs hotel offers unique panoramic views of the city walls, the sea and the port.

The Grands Voyageurs hotel stands at the entrance to the walled city, 100 metres from the pedestrian walkway. The hotel, which is above a pancake house, has 16 cosy rooms, all different. Some have balconies. The best rooms offer stunning views of the citadel, fishing port and marina - the features that give Concarneau its identity. Beatrice, the owner, will be happy to share her tips on exploring this town where the sea is a fundamental part of daily life. The fishing museum, marine biology station, a visit to the fish auction, an excursion to the Glénan archipelago... there’s plenty to do and see, in and around this small town of history and character, made famous by Vauban and the sardine fishing industry.
