    What a lovely family business! In the kitchen, the dining room, the hotel, and the wine-cellar: at the Relais de la Rance, the Guitton-Chevrier family are everywhere. And that’s how it’s been "since 1973, in this former café that my parents took over in 1946", explains chef André Guitton. Of course the menu has changed since then but André Guitton is “not one of those chefs who absolutely have to follow the latest trends!” After all, what’s fashion beside his delicious ‘lièvre (hare) à la royale’, that appears on the menu in the autumn and has brought many a gourmet from far afield! Or in summer, when you taste the shelled langoustines, raw and pan-fried in olive oil with passion fruit tartare, or the sea bass with sorrel or plain grilled lobster… And so it goes throughout the year!
