To save plants threatened with extinction. Since 1975, this has been the mission of the “Conservatoire botanique national de Brest” (Brest National Botanical Conservation Centre). In the gardens, the plants are grouped geographically whilst blending perfectly with the natural vegetation. This gives the gardens a natural charm that is heightened to perfection by the spring flowers and autumn leaves.
