  • Are you vegetarian, vegan or a committed ecologist? Then you'll be welcome at La Ricardière, authentic guest accommodation with a purpose in Port Tudy, on Ile de Groix.

Far from the hustle and bustle of the mainland, Marie and Georges welcome you in their former shipowner's house from the early 20th century. Passionate defenders of nature, they will be delighted to talk to you about the island's eco-actions. They propose a comfortable, environmentally-friendly guest room for two people: antique furniture, natural materials with European ecology labels and fair trade labels, Scandinavian-type modern dry toilets, etc. Before setting off to explore the island on foot or on bike and enjoying the sea and the landscape, enjoy an organic and fair trade breakfast with your hosts: you'll love the cereal and seed bread that changes over the seasons, the home-made jams and desserts, and seasonal products. A percentage of the money from each overnight stay is donated to the Association des Chiens-Guides d’Aveugles de l’Ouest (guide dogs for the blind charity).
