  • Have you ever slept in a presbytery? Well now you can, in the former home of the parish priest of Plounez. Just three minutes from the port of Paimpol. For an original and now secular stay.

Built in 1844, this imposing granite building was home to generations of priests before being transformed into a spacious and characterful bed and breakfast. Five spacious bedrooms with parquet floors (one of which is for families), now occupy the former presbytery. The rooms all have beautiful high ceilings, two windows, and magnificent sculpted wooden headboards. You can easily imagine which would have originally been the bishop’s bedroom, the priest’s bedroom, the room where the catechism was taught...A large walled garden (1000 m²) goes right the way around the building. In a corner of the garden, you can still see the 'garde-manger' where at one time, parishioners regularly placed their donations of food. During your stay, discover some of the places that inspired the writer Pierre Loti, the religious calm of Bréhat island or the sumptuous abbey of Beauport.
