The Maison de la Rivière discovery centre at Sizun helps you learn everything about freshwater habitats, rivers and other aquatic environments. The aim of the team at the Armorique Regional Natural Park is to increase public awareness of the richness and fragility of this environment. This is achieved through exhibitions on flora and fauna, biodiversity, water cycles, pollution etc.,a film, an aquarium, and river animal scenes…But there also themed nature walks (rivers, lakes, Arrée...
The Maison de la Rivière discovery centre at Sizun helps you learn everything about freshwater habitats, rivers and other aquatic environments. The aim of the team at the Armorique Regional Natural Park is to increase public awareness of the richness and fragility of this environment. This is achieved through exhibitions on flora and fauna, biodiversity, water cycles, pollution etc.,a film, an aquarium, and river animal scenes…But there also themed nature walks (rivers, lakes, Arrée mountains etc.) and an educational trail (with topographical guides), where you can discover the breathtaking scenery at the edge of Lake Drennec. Make a note too of the fly fishing courses (beginners and experts) in the high Elorn valley, on ‘première catégorie’ (category one, strictly regulated) rivers and lakes.
