  • This former manor house, built in the 18th century by René Madec, who fought for the Mogul Empire against the English, has large wooded grounds and a colonial feel.

At the entrance to the Hotel des Indes, two enormous statues of Ganesha say it all: you are entering a world reminiscent of the great explorers of the 18th century, although the manor’s eco-friendly approach is reflected in the materials used to build the hotel. With old teak furniture and objects from Asia and Indonesia, the 14 bedrooms and 2 suites of this high-class establishment take you on an overseas voyage with their decor and their names: "Les Grands Moghols", "Bougainville", "Siam", etc. A magnificent swimming pool with turquoise water, under ancient stone arches, plus a sauna and treatment area, complete the trip. Catherine and Olivier Sergeant, who created this exotic destination, welcome you as if you were very special guests. The cuisine, however, reflects local Breton traditions, and the vast gardens and woods add to the feeling of peace and serenity.
