The history of the ‘Hénaff’ canning factory is actually quite fascinating, from the first tinned vegetables in 1907 to its very latest creations. The photographs, real-life stories, objects, books and films on show here will tell you all about the company’s development, which is closely linked to the history of the Pays du Bigouden area and its inhabitants. The current temporary exhibition shows the work of photographer Christian Rérat, and journalist Gwendoline Kervella, telling the story of some twenty pig farmers who supply the ‘Hénaff’ factory. At the end of your visit you will get to try some of the products, and then visit the gift-shop, where you’ll find numerous testimonials from workers, consumers, and members of the famous ‘Hénaff Pâté lovers club’.
