In Saint-Quay-Portrieux, the president of the Narco Club knows the seabed around Saint Brieuc bay like the back of his hand as the association explores it throughout the year.Setting out from the marina in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, Pierre Cottin and his team of volunteer instructors can take around fifteen divers aboard the Marlin, an aluminium boat (8.50 m.) designed by and for the club. “With its alluvia, shallow waters and sunshine, Saint-Brieuc Bay offers a wide range of marine life,” explained Pierre Cottin. People are surprised to find sponges.” The club offers exploring throughout the year and dives each weekend and sometimes twice a day in the summer. Classes to level 1 and 2 are on offer. Each summer, the Narco Club organises two weeks of training in exploring, which attracts divers from all over France.
