Névez sits somewhere between charm and nostalgia: fine sandy beaches, little ports, thatched cottages built from standing stones, bathing huts…Near Cornouaille, the coastal resort of Névez will delight anyone who loves wide open spaces. Incredible light, fine sandy beaches, creeks, rocks, thatched cottages made from granite…From this pretty town, explore Port Manec’h, which lies between sea and river: a very popular seaside resort during the Belle Epoque whose bathing huts along the beach bear witness to its success. This little town, where beautiful residences sit side by side with fisherman’s houses, has certainly kept all of its charm. Take the hiking trail at the foot of the lighthouse and follow the cliffs to Raguenez, the most beautiful beach in Névez, nicknamed ‘Tahiti’! Out at sea, you’ll spot the Glenan islands. Stroll around the port of Kerdruc, and don’t miss the little hamlets, with their thatched cottages and ‘Mein Zao’, houses and walls built from standing stones, and unique in France.
