Parc de Préhistoire de Bretagne

All aboard for a voyage of discovery where you can come face to face with stegosaurus, brachiosaurus, dimetrodon, archaeopteryx and more! The ‘Parc de Préhistoire de Bretagne’ is situated just two kilometres from the medieval village of Rochefort-en-Terre. The park stretches over 25 hectares of wild woodland, has 5 lakes, that were formerly slate quarry pits, and is overhung by 40 metre high cliffs. The life-size scenes (battle scenes included) will help you discover the extraordinary world of dinosaurs! All the scenes have been reconstructed with the help from the Natural History Museum in Paris. The daily life and evolution of our distant ancestors, particularly those who first settled in Brittany, is also presented.
