  • In Trégor, on the banks of the Trieux, the Parc de la Roche-Jagu covers some 30 hectares. Contemporary gardens, but of medieval inspiration, the ideal spot to sit and dream.

With its ‘outstanding gardens’ label, the Domaine de La Roche-Jagu is well known for its resident artists who work around the theme of the landscape. This year, sculptor Daniel Van de Velde created four installations in the gardens on the theme of ‘modulations de croissance’ (changes in growth). To explore the gardens, three pathways are suggested: the water pathway, the oriental pathway, or the silver rock pathway. A real must: the Medieval inspired garden area (vegetable garden, medicinal plant garden, and cutting garden). Situated in the commune of Ploëza, the Château de la Roche-Jagu is a 15th century castle, restored in 1968. The property (belonging to the Côtes d’Armor General Council), opens its doors to themed exhibitions and a number of cultural events.
