In the Morbihan there are little trains that travel along the coast and back in time too. Choose between medieval Vannes, the wild Quiberon coast or mysterious Carnac.Take a seat and chug off on the tourist train. Between Carnac and Trinité-sur-Mer, you'll find ports, beaches and seaside towns as well as three groups of standing stones that are famous the world over. The commentaries by professional guides reveal the mysteries behind these Neolithic megaliths. Follow the 50 minute circuit and travel between land and sea. And yet another circuit will take you to the magnificent Quiberon peninsula with the most amazing views over the rugged coastline and fine white sandy beaches. If you fancy something more urban, you can also visit Vannes without the discomfort of walking over the bumpy cobbled streets. On the itinerary, the historic town centre, the French-style gardens and the ramparts, guarded by the Tour du Connétable tower.
