  • Old stone walls beautifully restored act as an elegant backdrop to the equally beautiful cuisine at Maison Lesage in Sarzeau!

Old stone walls don't always have to mean castles and ramparts. Here they refer to a stone building in the town, that dates back to 1620, but has been entirely renovated with love, care, and an eye for contemporary design. In a word, elegance is the key at the Hôtel-Restaurant Lesage. An elegant atmosphere and elegant cuisine are both the norm in this newly-labelled Restaurant du Terroir. Banastère oysters in their shells, vegetables from the market-gardens on the peninsula, imaginative and unusual dishes such as lobster salad with beetroot vinaigrette, warm langoustines with raspberry vinegar, monkfish with red pepper coulis... The whole restaurant is classic French, revisited from a contemporary angle, in both Guy Mariel's cuisine and the service presided over by Isabelle Le Thiec. And if you think I've said it all, I haven't even begun to tell you about the relaxing terrace, the conservatory, the spa, the suites...
