Sailing, sea kayaking, cruising, tall ships: all the fun of the sea can be found at the Sport Nautique Saint-Quay-Portrieux association, in Côtes d'Armor. This association runs the Saint-Quay-Portrieux sailing school, which offers a variety of sailing (Optimist, dinghy, catamaran and windsurfing) and sea kayaking for people of all ages: courses during the school holidays, year round training, equipment hire. Want to get out on the open sea? Sport Nautique Saint-Quay-Portrieux organises cruises on privately owned sailing boats. “We rely heavily on volunteers,” explains Patricia Bouvier, president of the association. Once aboard, you can sail on a fantastic stretch of water and discover Bréhat. Finally, you can try a trip on an old sailing ship, half-day, all day, or in the evening to admire the sunset. Longer trips can be organised for groups, for example to explore the Channel Islands.
