  • Located in the outbuildings of the former Tizé manor house in Thorigné-Fouillard, this club is a real find for white water lovers and sea kayakers alike, thanks to many organised trips along the coastline.

Thorigné Eaux-Vives club organises training sessions all year round, for adults and children to learn the different techniques of river kayaking. For a bit of variety, the organisers and volunteer instructors can offer a choice of three different locations: the river Vilaine, the Servon-sur-Vilaine rapids and the whitewater centre at Cesson Sévigné. The club regularly organises kayak trips along the region's rivers and coastline, while courses in the school holidays give you a chance to discover other stretches of water further afield. And all of this "in a friendly and supportive atmosphere," explains Bernadette Ducourtet, club manager. Want to try out some of the activities before joining up? That’s ok, come along to one of the club’s annual open days.
