In the heart of the mountains of the Montagnes Noires range, surrounded by varied, unspoiled landscapes, the Ulamir Aulne association offers groups of adults and children several different activities: kayaking, climbing, mountain-biking, archery, hiking and orienteering. Kayaking fans will love winding their way along the Nantes-Brest canal, which passes through the town of Saint-Thois. Fancy trying a few of the activities? Not a problem. You can try a whole range, with the help of qualified, versatile instructors who know the surrounding area like the back of their hand. “Groups tell us what they need and we devise a programme especially for them," says Stéphane Bourriquen, one of the sports coaches at the association. Open all-year-round, the association also benefits from an infrastructure suitable for disabled visitors. Finally, a choice of accommodation is available, at campsites or self-catering gîtes.
