  • On the banks of the Odet, in South Finistère, lies the breathtaking Villa Tri Men. Inside this elegant white and green period home, nestled within an enchanting garden, guests sit down to enjoy seasonal menus prepared by Quimper-born Michelin star chef Frédéric Claquin.

From the dining room, where a peaceful atmosphere reigns (sand, walnut and petrol blue tones), guests never tire of admiring the view of the many sailing boats moored along one of France’s most beautiful rivers. But, when the elegantly presented food arrives, an even more mesmerising sight steals each and every gaze: langoustine ravioli in seafood broth, pigeon from Monts d’Arrée with autumn vegetables, roasted lobster served with verbena sabayon, and so on. Frédéric Claquin, who has worked in several gourmet restaurants across Brittany, knows better than anyone how to get the very best out of regional products. His secret? The large ports of Pays Bigouden supply him with good quality fresh fish every day, his oysters come from breeding tanks located near Penfoulic, his sublime lamb grazes in the Pont-L’Abbé ria, and his organic pork is bred in the neighbouring commune of Tréméoc.
