  • Headlands, lakes and creeks, that's what the Cap d'Erquy - Val Andrée landscape is all about. The area is as golden as the sand that invites you to have fun in the fresh air, with your toes in the water and your head full of the region's history.

Famous for its golf course, one of the finest in Europe, Pléneuf-Val-André's beautiful family villas, spa and fine sandy beach make this an outstanding seaside resort. Erquy, home of the scallop, offers the full range of coastal attractions such as swimming, walking and watersports. Between the headlands, beside the lagoon, the little town of Plurien adds the simple charm of a traditional welcome. Lamballe, a city of art, is also a city of the horse, and is well known for its national stud and collegiate church - not forgetting the painter Mathurin Méheut, whose work is exhibited in the "Maison du Bourreau" (executioner's house). Jugon-les-Lacs? This is a characterful little seaside town, where the important things in life are the water, fishing, pedaloes and mountain biking. As for Moncontour, perched high on its rocky outcrop, classed as one of the most beautiful villages of France, a stroll through its narrow streets lined with granite buildings will take you back into the Middle Ages.
