At La Belle Lurette, the spirit of the place seems to suspend time: the preserved mosaic façade, terrazzo floor, antique furniture and canvases from another age make up a décor inhabited by memories. Here, Émilie Pelletier cooks up much more than just dishes: she revives a certain idea of comfort. After four years working at Bao in Groix, the Grand Huit in Paris and then a diversion to Beaujolais, she settled in Groix just over a year ago. Since then, she's been welcoming guests with simplicity, directness and generosity, offering a cuisine at reasonable prices. On the slate, the classics are reassuring: rabbit in cream sauce, fennel and melting potatoes, sausage, bacon and white beans, not forgetting the croque-monsieur inherited from her mother. And to finish, an airy fontainebleau with a passion fruit coulis adds a touch of lightness. In fine weather, the small terrace is quickly taken over.
