Quiet family campsite with heated pool, in a wooded setting close to the standing stones.
Camping du Dolmen is a small, peaceful 3-star campsite in southern Brittany. Just 600 metres from Men-Dû beach and 1.5km from Carnac, it's great for families. The 3 hectares of grounds are home to a swimming pool and 130 bordered plots, including 12 for mobile homes and 70 for camping. The site has a handy snack bar where you can grab a bite to eat or buy fresh bread and croissants for a filling breakfast. The little extra: the Dolmen offers seafood platters as long as you remember to order in advance. When it comes to the coast, Carnac has 5 sheltered beaches and well-preserved natural surroundings. The main beach and Saint Colomban beach both have designated lifeguarded swimming areas during the summer season. Nature is never far away either, as 60% of the land in the area is covered in vegetation. The nearby forest is best explored on foot, horseback or bike.
