Alternative solutions for taking bikes on public transport:

Solution No. 1: The SNCF also has a home delivery service for luggage (fr).

This way, you can travel light without your bike. It can be delivered wherever you want and you can also organise its “repatriation” when you arrive.

€80/bike/journey, considered as bulky luggage.

Solution No. 2: Rent a bike that you can return at the endof your trip: many hire firms in Brittany offer this  one-way service.
