Armor-lux

This wonderful story began in 1938. When Walter Hubacher created Bonneterie d’Armor in Quimper, the only garments made were underwear. It wasn't until 1970 that the first ready-to-wear fashion collections appeared. The Armor-Lux sailor top - blue, red or black - has since become an emblem of Brittany all over the world. They also make duffle coats, raincoats, shell jackets, etc. here. The quality of the textiles and the know-how of the seamstresses have acquired the same reputation. In Kerdroniou, you can visit the site where the company groups its cutting and sewing activities. You can also discover the design and methods department, the dying, knitting and finishing workshops, as well as the storage and sales areas in a 1,500 m² shop. From the yarn to the finished product, the entire production chain is in keeping with its times and is today developing a fair-trade and organic cotton line.
